Also on the basis of these data, Italy is a country ready to convert its economic paradigm into a circular model, able to improve the environmental impact and promote processes of social inclusion.
This is the budget of the ECCO (Circular Economy of Community) project promoted by Legambiente and financed by the Ministry of Labour.

Un ettaro di piantagione è in grado di sequestrare la stessa quantità di CO₂ necessaria per realizzare un muro di 30 cm di calcestruzzo lungo 24 km e alto 3 metri.

Con soli 10 ettari di coltivazione è possibile riassorbire tutta la CO₂ emessa per la costruzione dello Stadio Olimpico di Pechino.
