1 ECO CREDIT BambooPro represents 1 tonne of CO₂ equivalent sequestered with Environmental Projects carried out with Giant Bamboo Phyllostachis Edulis, which corresponds to approximately 2.5 m2 of agricultural land converted to bamboo plantation and cultivated for 7 years according to UNI PDR 156/2024 reference practice.
This data may vary depending on the characteristics of the Environmental Project and its duration (excluding those relating to CO₂ sequestration, which remain unchanged).
Through these Projects, farmers will have the opportunity to realise additional income through the sale of the Eco Credit generated by their Bamboo plantations: this will bring a growth of economic welfare in the territories where they are active.

The sale of the Eco-Credits generated by the plantations has the effect of economic development of the farms participating in the Projects. This aspect is essential since the generation and marketing of credits takes place in the first 7 years of the Bambuseto’s age.
At the end of this time ace, the plantation will be able to generate products that will go on the market as Reeds, Sprouts and Biomass.
