Farnese(VT) Bamboo Plantation

The plantation was developed in the province of Viterbo for No. 5 hectares and No. 840 plants per hectare. This bamboo grove will be used to absorb 27243 tonnes of CO₂ in order to create a new green lung for the area and thus contribute to zero carbon dioxide emissions.

Bamboopro is the leading company in Europe for the implementation of certified environmental projects that produce not only a positive impact on the environment, but also the development of farming communities, contributing to the economic well-being and employment growth of bamboo farmers.

The bamboo plants come from OnlyMoso nurseries, Europe’s largest nursery for the production of giant bamboo mother plants.
